A hair style which never seems to date? There is always a time and a place for a ponytail. One of the simplest, yet versatile styles around. Here are a couple Glitz & Glamour styling ideas to freshen up your ponytail.
SLEEK WRAP AROUND PONYTAIL
Start by protecting your hair with some Arbonne Anti-Frizz Oil, which gives hair a sleek finish and protects it from heat damage. A little goes a long way. Blow dry your hair and straighten with your straightening iron.
TIP while straightening ensure you don’t bend the ends.
Next, pull your hair back into a simple ponytail and secure. Take a 2cm thick section of the ponytail hair, wrap it around the ponytail following where the hair tie sits - cover the entire hair tie. Simply fix the end of the hair section in place using one or two kerby grips, this is best done from the underneath section so they are hidden. Then use some Anti-frizz dry spray throughout the lengths of your hair, that should keep it looking sleek and in place all day.
WAVY PONYTAIL
Prep your damp hair with some Arbonne Anti-Frizz Oil which boosts shine and combats frizz. Using a round brush, blow-dry your hair which will add body and a slight curl at the ends. Simply pull your hair back and you’re ready to go.
PONYTAIL TWIST
This particular style is easier if you’re working with second day hair, unwashed hair has more texture and better grip. Start by taking your hair into a high ponytail. Then split into two sections and simply twist each one, twisting each in the opposite direction. Wrap the two sections around one another and secure it at the end with a hair tie. To keep in place I’d spray up and down the entire length of your ponytail with a hairspray.
